Mykonos Veranda Radio Music from Mykonos and Strong cocktails. It is an 18th century building and preserves the architecture of an old Mykonian house. It was the house of the Russian president Ioannis Voinovits while Mykonos was under the Russian possession. That is the reason why Veranda and Town Hall are the only two buildings in Mykonos that have brick roofs instead of the traditional Mykonian architecture. Both buildings were built by the Russians between 1770-1774. It first opened as a cocktail bar in the early 90s by the Vigliari family and it was something unique at the time. Ever since it opened its doors it gathered a lot of people with its music and the delicious cocktails it created, mixed with sugar, spice and everything nice!!!
